KENNETH W. BRUCE, MAI
Mr. Bruce began his business career in banking, joining American National Bank of Denver. In 1972 he entered the real estate valuation profession with Columbia Corporation/MCA Financial, Denver. In 1976 he joined Coldwell Banker Commercial (now CBRE, Inc.) as an appraiser/consultant, becoming the Southwest Regional Manager. In 1980, Mr. Bruce became a Vice President and Principal in the real estate appraisal and consulting firm of Burke Hansen, Inc., remaining with the company and successor firm until 2007. He then joined Collier’s International Real Estate Advisors/PGP as a member of the national review team. In 2008 Mr. Bruce joined ScottNiebling Valuation Group, LLC, which was merged into Viewpoint Group, LLC. In 2014, Mr. Bruce joined Strategic Valuation Group of Arizona, PLC, as an appraiser and consultant.
With over 40 years in the profession, Mr. Bruce has developed expertise in numerous specialties, primarily in Arizona. In addition, he has completed appraisal and consulting assignments in Nevada, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Alabama, Hawaii and California.
A 38 year resident of the Valley, Mr. Bruce has served various community organizations and was a Founding Member of the Metropolitan Phoenix Sports Foundation, which assisted in the establishment of the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Phoenix/Arizona Cardinals.
Mr. Bruce provides consultation and fee appraisals for mortgage lending, condemnation, taxation, estate planning, litigation support, disbursement of assets, re-use appraisal programs and redevelopment, asset valuation, acquisition and disposal plans, corporate merger and business acquisition, investment analysis, risk analysis, cost/benefit analysis, feasibility and market demand studies, highest and best use analysis, trend/forecast analysis, zoning analysis, and computer applications for real estate decisions. Property specialties include: golf and country clubs; lodging/hospitality; master-planned communities; subdivisions; mixed-use; industrial; retail; office; and vacant land.
